Sunday Sippers 100km Fundraiser
On Saturday, 9th November 2024, one half of Sunday Sippers, John Veloudos, will be running 100 kilometres around Lake Burley Griffin to raise $20,000 for Running for Resilience.
As R4R has recently become a non-for-profit, this event is a fantastic opportunity to raise both funds and awareness for our mission to make the ACT suicide-free by 2033.
The run will start at Regatta Point, with John completing 3 full laps of Lake Burley Griffin (90k) and 2 laps of bridge to bridge (100k).
There will be checkpoints at 30k, 60k, 90k, and 95k, and we invite everyone to join in at different parts of the route.
John and James, the creators of Sunday Sippers, have been passionate supporters of R4R since 2021. They believe in the power of small habits and actions to create meaningful change in people's lives, and through their podcast and community, they encourage everyone to pursue their goals and make a difference.

Men’s Table
What is the Men’s Table?
The Men’s Table is all about men serving men. The first Men’s Table (MT1) began in 2011 with 12 men who have met once a month for dinner and ever since. It is now growing to become a national charity.
The Men’s Table creates a unique environment for men to share openly about their lives, their challenges, their highs and lows with a group of men who they learn to know, like and trust.
There’s never been a better time to get connected and be part of building community. It’s healthy to show emotions and share feelings, and it is time we freed men from outdated masculine norms.
